This project is the result of a series of trips to San Francisco searching for a new direction in photography. It is a personal reflection of something I feel when I enter an urban space: the pulse of a city. There is something about approaching the city from a distance and suddenly becoming immersed in cars filling the streets, people lining the sidewalks, and buildings that touch the sky. It has always been a place I can go relax. Most people get away from big city life to alleviate their stress, but in a place where you can lose your identity, it is an ideal location for me to lose mine and become part of the pulse.
