Activists collected on May 1 to march in support of immigrants’ rights.
May Day, as the event has come to be called, began last year in protest of H.R. 4437 (The border protection, Anti-terrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005).
This year, protestors took to the streets in both Santa Cruz and Watsonville.
