The women’s rugby team went to the elite eight last weekend in Albuquerque. The team beat Wayne State University on Saturday, advancing to the quarterfinals, but lost to Shippensburg the following day. The Slugs ended their season with a record of 8–1.
The women’s tennis team hosted a match against Sonoma State last Friday and won 5–4. The Slugs hold an overall record of 8-9 and a Division III record of 7–1. They qualified for the Nationals, to be held May 13 through 18.
The men’s lacrosse team defeated Pepperdine University 14–7 on April 13. The team holds an overall record of 7–2 and a division record of 4–0.
The Sluggers baseball team played Stanford last weekend, April 18 and 19. They lost Friday night 8–9, won Saturday 8–6 and lost Saturday afternoon 6–8. They will travel to San Diego for Nationals in early May.
The men’s ultimate Frisbee team will travel to Davis for the Northwest Open Regionals on April 26.
