The article “Students Protest Military Recruiters On Campus” (April 24) failed to mention the negative impact SAW protesters had on the Last Chance Job Fair. In their attempt to fight war and stand up for homosexual rights, they discouraged students from going to a job fair that also happened to include employers such as the Peace Corps, Grassroots Campaign, local school districts, and other organizations devoted to health care, social justice and the environment. The protesters should be ashamed for demonstrating what could be a good cause in such a stupid and disrespectful way. Their protest was a disgrace to peace movements everywhere.
