Going down Highway 1, there are so many beautiful locations to sit down and enjoy the day. In Sand City, near Monterey, there are dunes that can completely surround one’s outlook with only ocean and sand. It feels almost like being transported to another world. Continuing down the highway, taller trees and mountains begin to pass by along with diving cliffs that lead down to the ocean. A wanderer can find a secluded beach surrounded by cliffs and tall rocks. Inside that secluded beach is a tree trunk that serves as the perfect bench on which to relax and stare at the ocean. Next to that beach, there is a tall hill overlooking the coast. Here is a glimpse of the many hidden treasures along the highway that are passed by so often.
