Every week in the print version of City on a Hill Press, we ask students two questions: a Public Discourse question, where students share their thoughts about current national and local news, and a “Who the Hell” question for a take on the lighter side of things.
With the City of Santa Cruz recently passing ordinances to deal with illegal activity and homelessness in and around Pacific Avenue, students share their thoughts about the downtown Santa Cruz environment.
In light of Olympian Michael Phelps bong scandal, students discussed a celebrity or public figure they would like to “toke” with for the Who the Hell question of the week.
