Midori talks dirty.
She talks dirty about rope bondage, anal play and fisting. Entering the room wearing knee-high black lace-up boots with jeans and a red, gold, and teal print top with a bust of studded mock jewels, she looked around the crowd with a slight smirk. “I need three volunteers,” she said.
And the night began.

The “queen of kink,” as dubbed by the New York sex shop Babeland, spent an evening on Monday, April 13 hosting “Sex on the Wilder Side: No Holds Barred” at the Cantú Queer Center. The event was organized by the Queer and Questioning Women’s Group and co-sponsored by SHOP. An estimated 30 people showed up for the evening.
“She was funny and down-to-earth,” said Crystal Frank, a Porter second-year. “She was sassy and feisty but in a way that wouldn’t freak anybody out or make her seem unpleasant.”
To start the night off, Midori asked the three volunteers to grab two scarves and a dildo of their choice off her table of whips, lubes, books and condoms. She demonstrated how to make a comfortable strap-on, and gave a brief lesson on vibrating cock rings.
“I am insane for doing what I do,” she said in reference to the constant traveling and low pay.
As she delved into toxic chemicals in sex toys, Midori brought out what she dubbed her “block of pussy,” a block of realistic-feeling polymer material with a model vagina and anus. She used this to point out the extra sensitive bits of the vulva and demonstrate the finger motions to hit the G-Spot of a woman.

“She was very interactive with everybody. Almost like she was just having a chat with everyone at the same time,” Frank said. “It put everyone at ease about the topics and made it a fun, comfortable thing.”
The night ended with Midori’s words of wisdom about the uneasiness surrounding sexuality.
“Do dogs have problems with licking their balls?” she asked. “No. They’re happy. We should be too.”
