SANTA CRUZ, CA – Protesters at the base of campus on Thursday discussed the possibility of continuing protests on Friday at UCSC.
“If you want anything to change… we need to disrupt business as usual for as long as possible,” said an anonymous protester to the crowd at the General Assembly meeting on Thursday evening.
At this time, it is unclear exactly what shape protests will take tomorrow, and whether campus traffic will be again restricted.
Afterwards, a crowd of protesters marched Downtown from the base of campus, taking over the intersection of Water and Pacific around 7:20pm.
