Arrest for DUI
April 3, 2:01 a.m. — An 18-year-old Stevenson College student was arrested for driving under the influence.
Vandalism at College Nine/Ten Dining hall
April 4th, 8:12 a.m. — Someone removed a large parking block and smashed a flower pot in front of the College Nine/Ten dining hall.
Orchids Stolen From College Nine
April 5, 10:41 a.m. — Orchids were stolen from three Terra Cotta flower plots in front of a College Nine residence hall.
Ten Windows Knocked out at Bay Tree Bookstore
April 6, 11:40 p.m. — A custodian reported seeing two males throwing rocks at the windows of the Bay Tree bookstore, where a total of 10 windows were broken. As of press time, suspects remain at large. Check cityonahillpress.com this evening for the full story.
Rifle Ammunition found in parking lot
April 7, 8:25 a.m. — Three hollow-point long rifle bullets were found at Parking Lot 165, near Social Sciences One.

Man Stabbed on Western
April 3, 11:55 p.m. — A 26-year-old man walking down the 200 block of Western Drive was stabbed after getting into an argument with someone on the street. The man was stabbed in the abdomen, and neighbors who heard the fight called police. The man was airlifted to an out-of-county medical trauma center. The man suspected of stabbing the victim was described as a white male in his 40s.
Santa Cruz Police Conduct Major Traffic Dragnet
April 6 — Santa Cruz police along with the California Highway Patrol and other Santa Cruz area police agencies, conducted a Before Aggressive Drivers Get Everyone Stopped (BADGES) detail. 207 tickets were written, mainly for speeding, running red lights, and stop sign violations. Police also made one arrest for driving under the influence. BADGES is part of a monthly program to aggressively cite driving violations throughout Santa Cruz county.
