
Monica Lozano was appointed to the Board of Regents by Gov. Gray Davis in 2001. Lozano holds memberships to the compensation, finance and governance committees. She is the chairperson of the finance committee, the same committee that approved “Report F” (Commission on the Future Dec. 1, 2010) that increased student fees by 32 percent over two school terms. Lozano chairs the Walt Disney board of supervisors. She has been a director of Bank of America Corporation since 2005, as well as a director of the Weingart Foundation. In March of 2013 Lozano’s 12-year term will end.
