On Monday, April 16, City on a Hill Press will host The First Monday of the Quarter. On this day, we kick off a weekly event from 9am to 12pm at the Quarry Plaza where you can pick up the latest issue of our student-run paper and a free cup of coffee.

Bluntly put, a Monday morning spent with a warm cup of coffee in one hand and the weekly news in another is a Monday morning to wake up for. And it’s all free. It can’t get any better than that, right?

Oh, we forgot something. By coming to our booth you’ll also support CAN, The Community Agroecology Network, an international organization that helps rural communities in Mexico and Central America develop self-sufficiency and sustainable farming practices. Who would’ve thought that drinking a free cup of coffee could help confront some of the world’s most pressing problems in sustainability and conservation?
