While capturing these photos, I felt as if everything except the ocean had stopped around me. The ocean is a fascinating body of water covering nearly 70 percent of Earth’s surface. Within these waters, there are undiscovered species, small microscopic organisms and large marine mammals. While I stood on the Santa Cruz Wharf early Saturday morning, I looked out into the distance to see a humpback whale, endless amounts of sardines, sea lions and even pelicans. It was a feeding frenzy.
