In the past few weeks there has been quite a bit of rain that has kept me in a simple routine of staying indoors. While I do enjoy spending days bundled up in blankets reading a nice book, I took on a small challenge to get myself out of my routine and out exploring. Although it appeared that the days of rain would never end, I emptied out my schedule for the gaps of sunshine in order to go outside before the rain returned. Inspired by the simple phrase of “Good morning sunshine!” I documented some sunny days along the coast in Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay, and Half Moon Bay. These photos are a reminder that although sometimes it seems there is nothing new to do, there is always a new place to travel to and capture some sunshine.
